Simply plug the Wireless Network Connector (WNC) into the Ethernet or serial port of a supported device and data will automatically begin to flow across the wireless network.

Making the case for facility monitoring

Monitoring can also save money by reducing costs and extending the life of critical equipment. It can identify inefficient energy use and times when buildings are approaching peak demand usage triggering peak utility pricing. Monitoring can highlight ways to safely reduce cooling costs. Monitoring delivers the data to help in capacity planning. It can help identify when additional capital expenditures will be needed or that such investments can be delayed.

The device, which looks like a standard Hubbell 60-amp IEC pin-and-sleeve watertight connector, has the built-in ability to measure power consumption and transmit the information over a wireless mesh network.
